I consider myself lucky to have been trained in RTT by Marisa Peer, Britain’s best Therapist, trainer, author and speaker. She is truly inspiring. I am also a coach and Marisa Peer weight loss practitioner.
Prior to becoming a therapist I had a successful career as a Deputy Head Teacher, specialising in behaviour management. It seemed a natural progression to me to continue this work outside of the education sector and RTT fits so well with this. I wish I’d qualified whilst at my last school as I know I could have effected a major change in the behaviour of traumatised children and stressed staff. I combine this with the coaching skills I learned as a teacher.
Like most people my life has not been plain sailing and I’ve dealt with divorce, childhood death of my niece, loss of my mother and the need to keep going in a stressful job throughout tough times. I’ve sought out different therapies at those times, and found them helpful in many ways, however, without doubt, RTT has been the best therapy I have received. It has helping me to identify those thoughts and beliefs that were restricting my life and enabling me to leave them behind for a better life. It inspired me to go out and do the same!
I have a deep rooted need to help people and take great pleasure in seeing the turnaround in people’s lives when they have undertaken RTT with me.
